Hello, there. I woke up today at 6:30 in the morning after almost 14 hours sleep, gosh, that’s even long for my standard, haha. But in my defence, I have just finished 2 long-haul flights with only 1 day off in between, and I forgot to pack so many things, including my tanning mitt and my camera !!!! Trust me, I was really beating myself up for forgetting the camera. Thus, to make up to you all, I would like to share with you some of my lame selfies in loungewear. After breakfast, I quickly filled in my brows and bit of eyeliner (the only two things I do to my face when I just want to have a chill day) and I forced myself to drive to the supermarket as I just got my license 3 months ago and I need more practice. However, I bumped into the kerb just before I got into the car park as I got distracted by looking for the entrance. A serious note to myself – try your best to focus on controlling your bloody hands while driving!!! I really wish I did my driving licence when I was 18, so I can be a confident driver now. I can confidently say, driving is not in my DNA, it took me a long time to get my licence (although I passed on the first time). I remembered I wanted to do it when I was 18 years old but I was too lazy, but now whenever I think back, the things I regret are not the things I have done but rather the things I have not done. So… moral of the story, if you ever wanted to do something, just go for it!
The rest of the day I was doing laundry, planning for my upcoming holiday to China and doing some research for my essay. For dinner, I cooked a very quick and simple pasta with mushroom and spinach cream source.
Anyway, I just realised that it is the weekends now, it is kinda funny that I don’t have any concept of weekdays and weekends as a shift worker. Hope you all have a lovely weekend!
Hi, babes. I have just got back from Hong Kong last night, I had a super busy flight on the return sector and I still feel tired now (even after 12 hours hibernation ). Anyway, I have managed to take some photos for the outfits that I was wearing in Hong Kong. White off the shoulder top is so in trend this summer, I love off the shoulder tops because I think they are really feminine and summer appropriate, and I paired it with a pair of simple skinny jeans and the rose gold ballet pumps, which are very comfortable and cute at the same time. Normally I like to go shopping in Hong Kong, so being comfortable is definitely my first concern when I know I need to walk around for a long time.
Also, I have managed to finish all the series of the Line of Duty, such amazing series. Seriously I have never watched anything like this before !! Let me know what do you think about it if you have watched it before. While I am typing this post, I am tuning HAIM’s new song- Want You Back, it is so good and I am forever on replaying now! I will post the youtube link of this song down below if you want to check it out.
Hello there, welcome to my first ever blog post! Cropped flared jeans have been everywhere this year and I would like to share with you how I style them for spring. I normally buy my jeans from Topshop (aww, my beloved Jamie jeans), but I haven’t seen any good looking flared jeans in Topshop. It took me a while to hunt for the perfect cropped flared jeans, so I was over the moon when I have finally got it from Dr. Denim. Let’s just put it this way, it is not an easy task for a petite girl like me to buy the perfect pair of jeans as they are always too long or too loose. This pair of Dr. Denim jeans is really stretchy that hugs my butts perfectly with the right length that just reaches my mid ankle. England has been having the best week so far, so I have paired the jeans with a simple pump and a dark floral top with flared sleeves. You can probably tell that I have been loving this flare trend, haha. However, it is still early May, so it can get a bit chilly in the afternoon in the UK, so I added a very cute fur gilet to keep warm. I think this outfit is very cute and practical for spring (at least for England, haha). I have put all details for this look as followings:
