Hello there, how are you doing! Today it’s been quite productive for me so far. I have finished all the items on my today’s plan, so I have got all the afternoon and evening FREE ….So I thought I need to update my blog. If you are following me on Facebook or Instagram, you probably know that I went to Paris for 3 days with my boyfriend Tim. I had a rather rough time since June, Tim was really sweet and decided to treat me with a little getaway holiday in Paris. This was my first time to visit Paris, I had a great time there overall. Paris is a really beautiful city and it was packed with tourists, but that’s what you get in July. When we were shopping around Champs Elysees, we went into this most beautifully decorated Abercrombie and Fitch store I have ever seen in my life. Also, the weather was really nice, not to mention the French food. My best memory was definitely the afternoon we spent just seating around Jardin des Tuileries, watching the sun goes down and not to worry about anything else. Tim’s friend Danny has also met us to show us around and he recommended us a few places for food, which all turned out amazing! Anyway, I will definitely go back to Paris again when I had the chance! Tonight I will catch up more episodes of True Detective S2, this is officially my favourite series now. I can’t wait for the S3 to be filmed. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Leah, xx.

Hello, there. I woke up today at 6:30 in the morning after almost 14 hours sleep, gosh, that’s even long for my standard, haha. But in my defence, I have just finished 2 long-haul flights with only 1 day off in between, and I forgot to pack so many things, including my tanning mitt and my camera !!!! Trust me, I was really beating myself up for forgetting the camera. Thus, to make up to you all, I would like to share with you some of my lame selfies in loungewear. After breakfast, I quickly filled in my brows and bit of eyeliner (the only two things I do to my face when I just want to have a chill day) and I forced myself to drive to the supermarket as I just got my license 3 months ago and I need more practice. However, I bumped into the kerb just before I got into the car park as I got distracted by looking for the entrance. A serious note to myself – try your best to focus on controlling your bloody hands while driving!!! I really wish I did my driving licence when I was 18, so I can be a confident driver now. I can confidently say, driving is not in my DNA, it took me a long time to get my licence (although I passed on the first time). I remembered I wanted to do it when I was 18 years old but I was too lazy, but now whenever I think back, the things I regret are not the things I have done but rather the things I have not done. So… moral of the story, if you ever wanted to do something, just go for it!
The rest of the day I was doing laundry, planning for my upcoming holiday to China and doing some research for my essay. For dinner, I cooked a very quick and simple pasta with mushroom and spinach cream source.
Anyway, I just realised that it is the weekends now, it is kinda funny that I don’t have any concept of weekdays and weekends as a shift worker. Hope you all have a lovely weekend!
